We found this in a corner at the Arlington guitar show. Nothing phased Ben, he was a cool guy is sadly missed by all who knew him. This one is really as good as it gets when it comes to 3/4 Offsets. He ended up wrapping it in all his families clothing, then duct tape, to get it on the plane back to California. Somewhere along the way, Ben went out to a local shop and came back with one of those massive acoustic Mexican guitars – I think it is called a Guitarron – without much thought we all ended up at the airport a few days later with no case for this beast. 1960 Fender Musicmaster in Blonde Muziekinstrumenten, Gitaren. The neck feels sweet and soft and plays effortlessly, the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard is really beautiful! The body shows several chips, dings, dongs and playwaer but there are no repairs or refins and all is legit.

The bridge saddles have been replaced and the originals are in the case, which is a 1970's Cheney England hardshell case. The nitro (For some reason, Fender continued using nitro finishes on Mustangs, Duo-Sonics and Musicmaster for much longer than on other guitars) finish on the body, neck and headstock are all original as are the plastics, pickups, pots (week 18, 1976), F-tuners, knobs etc.

The Musicmaster was Fender’s budget-priced bass at the time, made. As with Fender’s guitar bearing the same name, the bass was a simpler version of Fender’s Mustang Bass. Fender’s Musicmaster was first introduced in 1971, and in production through 1981. by Corey Brown Monday, November 21st, 2011.

This pretty cool All Black Fender Musicmaster from 1976 weighs just under 3.1Kg, has a lovely rich tone and is very resonant and light yet powerful! Old School: 1978 Fender Musicmaster Bass. As Fender put it in the 1976 catalog "Begin with a Musicmaster, and graduate to stardom!" A wonderful vintage Fender in time-capsule condition.
